Schultz & Larsen "How To" Series

Part of the Schultz & Larsen "How To" Series as we take a look into Barrel Cleaning. We use the VFG Barrel Cleaning System in this video, which works extremely well to clean and protect your barrels.
"A Clean Barrel is an Accurate Barrel."

In this video we run through the various VFG equipment you use when cleaning a barrel, including the different types of felts, the adaptors for the cleaning rod, the different cleaning rod options. We also look at the extras which help during the cleaning process such as the bore guide and the bore cleaning paste.

We also run through different cleaning scenarios such as a top-up clean. Great for when you've been out and only shot off a few rounds, but want to give it a quick clean. The typical process is:
- Run through with Super Intensive Felts
- Follow up with Standard Felts until you're happy your barrel is clean
- Run an Oiled Standard Felt if you're putting the gun away for storage

Another scenario is for when you have had a heavy shooting session and you require a deeper clean. The process would be:
- Run through with Super Intensive Felts
- Use some Bore Cleaning Paste with Standard Felts to polish the barrel walls
- Follow up with Standard Felts until you're happy your barrel is clean
- Run an Oiled Standard Felt if you're putting the gun away for storage

The VFG Cleaning System makes barrel cleaning quick, easy and very effective. There are a wide range of different felt sizes for different calibres available:
