Unusually, for a rifle maker at least, Schultz & Larsen have chosen to design and manufacture their own moderators.  In doing so they have set the same standards for performance demanded of their rifles.

Each moderator is made of the highest quality materials and designed to withstand repeated firing with heavy calibres.  Every baffle has a stainless steel cone in the centre to ensure longevity – hence the designation for this model range – ‘Schultz & Larsen Hardcore’. 

The rear section of the over-barrel models is machined from solid bar and that alone is an impressive piece of engineering.

The slimmest moderator in the Hardcore range. Weighing only 256g, adding only 148mm to the length of the rifle.

Ultradome - RRP £210.00

Although the Ultradome was designed to provide a slim and lightweight moderator for use on the Legacy, it's performance is excellent and the slim profile makes it the moderator of choice for many using larger calibres.

Superdome IR Improved - £260.00

The Superdome IR Improved has the same core design as the Superdome, but with better noise reduction. Only 5mm longer and 20 grams heavier, it performs extremely well on all standard calibres and is the recommended choice offering effective moderation with a lightweight construction.

The Thunderdome is the moderator for those wanting maximum noise reduction and recoil reduction.  This big moderator has the capacity to handle the most powerful loads and is especially recommended for taming the big magnums.

The latest in the Venom Series, the Ultra Venom is an over barrel moderator offering stunning sound reduction for the size and weight. Featuring a the same efficient internal design throughout the series, but a more compact version with a tough scratch resistant external finish.

Lighter than both the Superdome and Thunderdome, the Venom is available in both muzzle mounted and over barrel, offering excellent sound reduction in a compact package. Featuring a the Venom's efficient internal design and a tough scratch resistant external finish.

The .22 LR Mini is slimline and lightweight. It features 8 Baffles, but can be added to, transforming it into the .22 LR Mini XL (featured below).

.22 LR Mini XL - RRP £100.00

Both Mini and Mini XL are muzzle mounted moderators aimed for Rimfire rifles. The Mini is aimed at Subsonic ammunition and the Mini XL is aimed at Supersonic ammunition. The additional length added with the expansion module is 20mm.
